Camera equipment in every corner, journals filled to the brim, wet paintings still left to dry
and three guitars stacked up against the wall. This could be a description of a local pawn, but
it actually describes Aaron Canipe's room.
Clasically trained on the guitar, Aaron is also self-taught on the bass and the ukulele.
Most of Aaron's free time is spent dreaming of becoming a rock star and writing a number one
hit song, but really he is just plucking around aimlessly. He enjoys the musical sounds of
Sonic Youth, Interpol, The Mountain Goats, and the Talking Heads.
Having taken art classes from the ages of 10-13, Aaron has worked in a variety of mediums. Pastel, watercolor,
pen and ink, acrylic, colored pencil; Aaron has experienced. But even today he still enjoys old-fashioned finger-painting.
